Dorkly is a new website from the College Humor guys. This site is all about the stuff you enjoy that makes you a dork. If you are geeky like I am, you will love this site. It has very funny articles and posts the best of geeky web comics. Their orignal videos are amazing, very funny and witty, all based on our favorite video game characters. Even their submissions by viewers are good, you can see people in their cos play outfits and even my Engagement cake.

I felt that this maybe a well known site, but talking to some friends, they knew College Humor but not Dorkly so that is why I am posting it. It's a great read and will get you to laugh out loud. I hope you have fun NOT doing your work at Dorkly.

Vat19 is a great place to waste some time on. They are an online shop with many amazing products, but what makes this site different from other online shops are their product videos. They are simply amazing. they are entertaining, funny and straight to the point. They show of the products very well and show you everything you would need to see to buy the product. they have videos for almost every product and I have wasted a whole night trying to watch all of them.

I haven't brought anything from them yet (I'm planning to for christmas). But they have answered all my questions within 48 hours. It is a great site, though my rating is on time wasting, while this is a great site, you could spend maybe 30-60 minutes on the site to entertain yourself, and you may even purchase something.

Make sure to check out their Worlds biggest gummi bear and have fun NOT getting that work done.

One More Level

One More Level  7/10



One More Level is a great flash game site I have been using for years. It's a great site because it is simple and it isn't crowed. The ads are just small banner ads with no sound, all games are well categorised and the site is updated daily. The owner only posts games they he enjoys playing, this means you don't get and bugged games that don't work or games they just aren't fun like girly dress up nail games (sorry if that is your sort of thing)

My only thing I feel is that there is a lack of a community. There was once a Forum for fans of the site to discuss games, post walkthroughs and high scores. but it was taken down for what ever reason. I think with a site with a large fan base, this is a good thing to have. I guess there is facebook but it doesn't really let you be anonymous. With a forum or a community it makes you feel like 'this is my site, I belong here' it also lets you meet other people with common interests.

Overall this is a great time waster site and I think everyone should have ago. Some of my favorite games include:

Hello, my name is Stephanie, and I have always wanted to start my own blog. But I could never think of a topic to blog about, my life isn't always interesting..

Dear Blog
       Today I played through God Of War, fed my pet rabbit, played some facebook games and had a good dinner, and that was it in my interesting life.


Also, I don't have many hobbies that I'm good at. Don't get me wrong I do have hobbies. I sew, knit, cook, play video games, I even play Dungeons and Dragons regularly (lvl 5 Eladrin Fire Mage) but I'm not good enough to really blog about these topics. I even gave Rage Comics a go, and thanks to Reddit it turns out I'm not very good at comics.



Also my main skills are with music, singing and  but no-one wants to read about music theory or singing techniques. Thats what text books and singing lessons are for.

I recently spoke to my partner about this and he said "why not review websites? you're always online and showing me the new things you have found." I loved the Idea and now we are here.

I'm going to post about 3 times a week with a new website I have found (I'm also up for suggestions) and I'm going to rate on time wasting factor (how long you can spend on the site, how interesting it is and entertaining) this isn't a review on the technical side of things. The only thing I know about Internet coding and website building, is godaddy.com and the HTML I learnt when I was 15 in highschool. So I'm hoping to show you good sites to check out, new and old that I can always seem to spend lots of time on. also I'll show you the random and the "why?" websites that seem to give me a laugh.
